Red card for the term ‘trust the process’. This has slipped into common use on here and it needs to be stamped out

"Trust the process" as a phrase/term started with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, about 10 years ago. They were deliberately really really bad for several years, in the hope that getting lots and lots of top draft picks would get them a couple of star players to then attempt to win the championship. They now have Joel Embiid, one of the best players in the league, and are a top 4/5 contender.

People have then started using this phase all over the place, when it isn't quite as warranted.

Wouldn't it need to be a video? Hard to tell direction of travel from a still.
