Another club who seem to have gotten away with FFP that no one in the press seems to be talking about!

Selling SealPrick for £100M helped them.

And the few million from HS2 land on their training ground...

Apparently they were at a £96m loss, then sold Grealish and that made a profit, so it will be a few years before they're being docked anything. So that's their 21-22 clear... they won't get hit until at least 2025... and I have no idea how their £98m share issue gets rolled into FFP rules either. They had managed £420m losses from 2013 up to 2021... Jammy fuckers... as usual.

Lewis Cox has reported there has been good progress made towards the West Brom takeover, with the EFL keeping track of the situation ahead of potential checks.
The Express and Star journalist shared that there is no time scale yet, with the takeover having to pass EFL tests before it can be rubber-stamped, but strong progress is being made.

This comes following the news that Shilen Patel is set to be granted exclusivity to agree on a £60million takeover of the club in the coming weeks.
The EFL do ownership tests?,
Blimey, there's a turn up..
Yes they use one of those square paper things the girls used to make at school to find out if you were going to marry them, it's made of 8 possible questions and they just ask the potential owner 1 of them!

Some are saying the takeover hold up is at the Chinese end, are they delaying things for a pacific reason. But there also saying there won’t be any problems with the takeover. So why delay. ?

Our predicament

Bit confused at the level of MSD dept ? Is it £27m or £27m + an additional loan taken out in December.

£20m plus the additional loan.

We will get to discover the value of the additional loan, when the accounts to 30th June 2023 are published on companies house website (around start of April).

More likely to be an Atlantic reason if the preferred bidder is going to be Shilen Patel et al!
