I have no idea when the Takeover will be completed or if it’s on at all, but some fans seem to believe that the earliest that this takeover can be completed is March. I hope for all our sakes it’s earlier, but we all seem to be relying on captains cryptic posts. Well I hope he’s closer than those who think it could be March. We really need some stability around our club to help Carlos, who is doing a terrific job in difficult times.

West Brom in the PL with a bit of optimism could generate crowds of c30k and we should, long term, have a ground that enables that, the obvious uplift would be to the Halfords Lane. I think we've had this discussion before mind.
I'm not sure what should make WBA an outlier in the world of increased attendances in general across the country. We've never been as well supported (In numbers) as the Villa or several other clubs across the country, but the apparent disparity is out f sync to 120+ years of history. We've just lost our way with how to attract the crowds and accepted 30+ years of down-playing our position.
There are a number of clubs who have traditionally not had the levels of support we have and in recent years have overtaken us. That's not just down to what's happened on the pitch.
Back to the takeover - I hope whoever it is and whenever it happens they take a long-term view on the club and this type of problem is tackled, it will help us for years to come and long after they've gone.
I'm amazed so little has come out if it's anything like near done. I was told "almost there" a week before Xmas so I'll give it a couple of weeks before thinking about protesting again and putting the pressure and media spotlight back on Lai.

Bar clubs who’ve been forced to upgrade standing sections for seating, we must be the only club in the country who’ve reduced the capacity of their ground over the last 20 years. Obscenely small-time.
