To the poster asking where to start with the series, if you can get past the blocky graphics by all means go back to 7 (ideally), 8 (low key my favourite lead character) or 9 (in the best traditions of early FF). Personally my advice would be to start with 10. Still turn based mechanics but the story isn't too heavy (I'm looking at you XII) and the setting and characters are excellent.

Went down a rabbit hole there, next up I've still got Horizon FW, Jedi: Survivor, Red Dead 2 (to my shame - had it since launch) and God of War Ragnarok among others on the shelf.

Just finished Jedi Survivor, I really enjoyed it.

Havent had enough time for it but good lord Baldurs Gate is fantastic. Act 3 now so hopefully the ending is good.

I've enjoyed it, but basically every main mission is go there kill everything, move on. The latest update has added a prologue too.

I thought the gaming World had reached it's pinnacle of creation with the unbeatable and pure unimaginable brilliance that is Goat Simulator, well, this evening while flicking through the monthly games on PS, I literally came across, Powerwash Simulator........ What sheer work of the gaming Angels is this????

It's one of the three main monthly games, it can fuck right off... along with the other tat this month. Have you never seen surgeon simulator? A game that literally turns you into Michael J Fox doing surgery....

Never played Powerwash Simulator but I do know it has a bit of a cult following.

As ever, got distracted from Cyberpunk, again!

Switched back to Lords Of the Fallen, my initial hate has mellowed, probably to do with getting past the Pieta bitch (for a first real boss she's hard as nails). It's still a bit rough around the edges, and you still die when it's not your fault, but it's a solid 8 /10.

Was compelled recently to start a new run on GTA San Andreas, which I haven’t played in years.

Also about to tie up my fourth consecutive league title with Arsenal on FM24 - I always start a game with a big team just to get a feel for the game before beginning my main campaign with Albion.

You onto the Phanton Liberty content yet NW? Must have been great to play a fresh new game with that integrated into the main story

I'll no doubt have run through four some time next year

Just about to finish Alan Wake 2, what a head fuck of a game that is, although superb, remember enjoying the original many moons prior
