You won't find names being mentioned (yet) in any mainstream UK or US media

I know it's a tenuous link, but, from the bit I've read, the philosophy of the Kansas City bloke definitely involves building a strong academy. Could be that he's set his stall out not to sell talented young players.
You'd hope so wouldn't you. I did think to myself that almost more pressing than any money for recruitment is money to give Carlos the chance to choose what of his current base he wants to try and tie down as a foundation to go forwards. First time since mid Pulis era that we are beginning to have a sense of a tangible core to the side

As promising as Fellows is, tying down Kipre is the most important contract to sort this season!
Of the players out of contract in the summer Kipre and Mowatt have definitely done enough to demonstrate so far that they both worth new deals and are of an age where they are worth keeping.
You also couldn't blame anyone on a personal level who chose to look after their next deal in Jan if we haven't been able to

Glad this is back to the forefront of the forum. I like the rest of us cannot wait for Lai to be gone and we’re all hoping it’s done sooner than later , to stop any fire sale.
Fellows clearly is going to be a fine player and we need to tie him down along with other good prospects. Kipre and Mowatt both deserve new contracts so hopefully the sale goes though just to keep our squad together.

I won't take any new owners seriously till I know how much they've spent on their hifi setup.

I was saying to my friend the other day, it is interesting there has been no mention of players out of contract in summer ect. We do have a few I believe, so I hope this indicates there is movement behind the scenes and the new owners will sit down and discuss who to keep ect
Of course it also concerns me that we are not looking at new deals as if there is no takeover I assume the whole lot will go simple as we will have no money at all, something I hope the takeover will resolve
