It does.. Honestly I cannot say too much, but do not be surprised if TGH goes, there is "interest" from elsewhere that has not matched our valuation.. yet.

Wouldn't surprise me, when called upon towards the end of last season he was poor.
Doesn't help he never plays regularly in the same position, no idea what his best position is, definitely not right back or central midfielder.
Shame if true.

There’s a player in TGH, but several managers now have been unable to work out how to best use him.

I like the energy he brings, and would like us to try and find a way to get him in the side but his main position is where we are the strongest… given his eye for a goal, he really should be being used further up the pitch in competition with Swift.
Be fair lad, one of those was Bruce. TGH is a good player and has rarely looked out of place in the side.
I think he was poor at the back end of lasts eason and didn't take his chance when he had it. I'm not sure what is wrong, because he has a lot of potential.

The next Sam Field

Not sure.

Obviously very different players, but whereas I see Field being a good Championship player who may get a few Prem games if he's in a promoted team. I'm not sure TGH will hit that level if he doesn't learn some game intelligence.

Yes would say Field and TGH are very much the opposite of eachother.

TGH lacks intelligence but gets around the pitch and is the type of kid fans really like to see burst through - particularly in a team as ponderous as we'd become in the latter days of Val and Bruce's arrival.

CC's football needs players to be far more disciplined and understand their role. Field would have been a better fit as technically he was very good, and his positioning and intelligence was head and shoulders above his age. Megson and Pulis saw this, but Pardew wanted the lads to run around a bit and as such he had completely the wrong manager at a crucial time.

Had it not been for injuries Field would have made it here, Moore, Bilic and Val all wanted to use him more, but he had a habit of picking up injuries just when his opportunity was there.
