A shot he wouldn't even consider playing if he was allowed to play his natural game...

Utter bollocks

Is it? See the first shot he played to his first ball. Root isn't playing the game that comes naturally to him. He's playing an unfamiliar style that has been drilled into him by McCullum.

So he’s not playing his natural game, how come he averages more under the McCullum - Stokes regime than before.
I’m sorry but you talk utter rubbish.

Another idiot to add to the ignore list.

Has a player been hit more in the balls than Ben Stokes?

Why do shit balls always get wickets?

Bairstow is offering absolutely nothing to this England side.

But at least he's playing Bazball cricket so that'll keep idiotic fans happy.

In fairness it'll be some effort to bottle this match from the position we were in at lunch. I stil feel we'll win, but they're, as is now the accepted style, throwing wickets away needlessly.

Why are we trying to twat every ball for 4? We could literally milk singles and see this home just after tea without any risk. Leave any ball that is half decent and punish the odd bad ball. Do not take any risks or play at anything that could get you out. It's so simple. I just don't get it.

It's about time we concentrated on winning a game rather than how we're perceived by the cricketing world.

Thank you sweetheart  Heart

Brook is some player.

Sensible batting is seeing us over the line. Who'd have thunk it?
