Don't mind it to be honest. Foakes in would've been nice, but he's not in the squad and I'm not sure who they bunt out.

I would have kept Tongue in personally. Think he had a good game at Lords. Let's hope Wood is fully fit, and has been practicing the short stuff 

Doesn't Tongue have a history of getting injured?

Whatever his history, Tongue is fit and was England's best bowler at Lords. Don't see why he should be left out. Anderson I agree should make way for Wood. Replacing Pope with Ali gives a spin option but weakens the batting.

On the basis of our recent history with both Wood and Archer, as well as bowlers like Ollie Stone, I think it's fair enough to be safe.

Don't see him turning up for another home summer next year in fairness. First two tests he's looked every bit a forty year old bloke.

Bring Foakes in. But I'm not sure of the rules of him not being the squad, so maybe that's impossible. 

I'd have dropped Crawley, too. 

I'm not sure Ali is a good choice, but again we're back to the arguments of spinning options being totally wank.
