Now that one was stupid from Duckett. This short, bouncer tactic from the Aussies is annoying and difficult to score against. Just ignore all the short ones. They'll tire themselves out, there's no Lyon to be able to rotate the quicks. And they'll have to go to another tactic if you just ignore what they're trying to do.

Ducket has a leave % of about 7% though, which is crazily low. Even someone as gung ho as Sehwag was at about 16%, most openers around 25%. I guess hard to tell him to leave the ball when that's what's helped him be successful.

Well done England a good days cricket, yes a couple of stupid dismissals but Stokes bought a calm to the end of the day.
Say what you like but Englands brand of cricket is never negative or dull can’t say that about some teams.
We will win more than we lose, we just have to work out how to play against negative tactics.
