Nope. Mentioned on the first day by Nasser that, "its a different kind of crowd than what you would find at Edgbaston".

In other words, miserable old buggers, so don't expect any entertaining costumes, singing/chats, nor general fun. You are here to watch cricket.

Lords is a brilliant place to watch cricket, everyone should go to Lords at least once if they profess to enjoy the game. If you want a decent day out on the piss then go somewhere else, just not Old Trafford which is a shithole.

Last time I was at Lords was at the M
Natwest trophy final 2002 ... Gangulys bare chested victory jig. Our dhol was commandeered by the authorities to be retrieved at the end of the game. The match lent itself to a marvellous atmosphere ... but then again when India or West Indies play you will find that anyway.
The authorities there however are proper killjoys.

I've just got a cob on at Lord's as I was there when Bears won the Royal London cup a few years back (2015?). They had the trophy celebration in front of the pavilion and their sparsely populated members area, while the majority of Bears fans were located at the opposite end of the ground.

Common sense should've prevailed and the presentation should have been made Infront of a very good following.

The ground itself is OK. But I just found it a bit soulless, tbf. Maybe I need to go for a Test match when it's full as opposed to 3/4 full for a final where a good portion of the crowd are neutral.

If Lyon's torn his calf he's surely out of the series.

Why can't Pope & Duckett leave the short balls alone?
They've both been fortunate not to hole out

Can't agree, for watching England at least. Was fine when I went down to watch a 40 over game.

The issue is that it's like a museum, you want to experience the history of the ground but the best means to actually manage that is to do the tour. I would take Edgbaston, Trent Bridge or the Oval every day of the week.

Yeah, you can tell from his body language that's a pretty serious one.

Absolutely huge for the series. Marnus, Head or Smith to bowl some pies , you'd think

Silly Pope - why didn't he just leave it?

There you go. Ollie Pope hits it down Smith's throat.
