The set lists from the first two warm up gigs do look good tbf. Plenty of tracks from Modern Life Is Rubbish which is always a good thing.

MLIR is one of my favourite albums of theirs so I’ve been happy to see quite a bit of that era getting a run out. Read that it’s the 30th anniversary of that album this year, so it might be down to that.

Nice one , actually booked trip to Boston to see Elvis Costello ( supported by Nick Lowe ) noticed Sparks were playing the night before !

No tickets bought, but gig's Im working at over the next few weeks are 3 Beyonce at Spurs, An all girl K-pop band called Red Velvet, The Summertime Ball (featuring Lewis Capaldi, Jess Glynn, Niall Horan, Anne Marie, Adam Lambert, Calvin Harris and more), 4 Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium and US punks Rancid.

I’ve no idea who Anne-Marie is but it sounds like an act that earns coin from playing holiday camps.

Went to see Mike and the Mechanics at Brum Symphony Hall last Saturday.Always enjoyed his music and with Genesis. Mrs not really into them but have to say they were top drawer. Even she enjoyed it. Did all their top songs, a bit of acoustic medley half way through with a few Genesis songs too. Andrew Roachford was class.
