Periera hasn’t impressed enough this season for anyone to pay the money we’d want for him.

Bilic would.

No chance.

That Chinese money is a thing of the past.

And I don't reckon he'd go there had his career stage.

He'll either have to stay with us or take a punt on another Prem side who will be in and around the mix for relegation.

They won’t pay what we want for him.

That's okay.

He'll be good enough in the Championship.

He could be the difference between returning to the Prem or missing out.

Pereira will go to a premier league side and prove his anonymity in games, yet have fleeting flashes of excellence just for MOTD

Whoever mentioned Benrahma before was spot on; he and Pereira lit up the Championship last year yet have really struggled to make an impact in the level above. We have to play Pereira in every game; West Ham can afford to keep Benrahma (at 3 x the price) on the bench.

Think also about the guy at Norwich - Buendia. Great in the Championship, took Norwich up and did very little in the PL and is now tearing up the Champ again.

No reason to think Pereira won’t be the same.

I actually think Pereria has done very well.

Yes his stats in terms of assists and goals have been lower, but that's because the defences in this league don't let our shite forwards get goals.

He is the perfect example of a player who wiuld flourish in better team. The comparisons to buendia and Benrahma are poor as they don't do the other side of the game which MP does.

Put him in a West Ham or Everton team and he would be fantastic.

Benrhama was always going to be a liability at PL level. His stats for Brentford showed him losing possession a lot and taking shot after shot without success. He has so much talent, but he’s a real luxury player and one who isn’t good enough for WHU to let play with the freedom he needs to be given.

To say Buendia struggled last season in the PL is completely wrong. He created as many chances as any player in the division, and showed he was more than comfortable at that level, had he been in a better side he’d have been a far more productive player. His numbers since relegation are insane, he’s on for almost doubling his tally of goals/assists from their last promotion season. He’s a top player who shouldn’t be anywhere near the Champ. If Pereira can show anything like Buendia’s form, attitude and improvement we’ll piss the league next year on that alone!
