Desperate for Last of us 2 to come down in price so I can not play that after buying it.

I saw TLOU2 for around 25 quid on Black Friday. Keep an eye on the January sales.

Yeah, Jan sales was my plan. I reckon I’ve got Tony Hawks remake coming in a secret Santa which should be good to dip in and out of.

I updated Cyberpunk on PC to v1.04 and lo and behold on my GTX970 it is now playing quite nicely at 1080p, almost fully medium settings. Looking loads better, still loads of random glitches and the textures not loading issue seems worse.

Would also like to grab TLOU2 when it comes down in price! Then again Demon's Souls keeps calling me back and Just Cause 4 (free with December PS+) is a lot of fun!

Mass/Duffers, how you getitng on with the graphics on Cyberpunk. I'm having a right battle with mine, I've got a gaming laptop

RX2060 6mb Ram so 12 months old, generally high spec, HDMI to the main TV but I'm stuck on 1920 screen res is that correct? No options for a better resolution, TV is a 4k Oled LG with 2.1 HDMI's etc

I optimise with the latest Nvidia drivers and most settings are set to High but with Ray Tracing off, this gives me around 50 FPS but I find the game looks "Good" but not better, when I try turning Ray Tracing on I go down to 20 FPS and it's unplayable, am I missing something here, surely the RX2060 should let me play it with ray tracing on

As for the game, I'm a few missions in, No Keanu Reeves yet, just doing the one when you first use the Braind Dance piece of kit which is a nice touch, so many side missions and things to do though, which I love but it's almost overwhelming at the minute, phone goes every 2 minutes, map is cluttered with things to see and do. If you factor in all the side missions it's literally a massive game, also a tad overhwelming, not getting chance to use the hacking skils before I'm spotted and it turns into a gun fight!

It runs pretty well on a PS5, on the whole smoothly. You see the odd texture fail to pop in and some minor bugs but nowhere near as bad as it’s been for PS4 and XB1 players. Looks to me like they’ve tried to shoehorn a next gen game onto systems that just can’t cope.

Game is good though, agree with what Cuzer says about it feeling overwhelming. Spent the first hour or two wandering around not having a fuggin clue what was going on! Been playing the main story then taking a break to look at the map and pick up any side missions near by. Took about 4-5 hours to get to Keanu and that’s actually the start of the game! God knows how big the whole thing is!

Seen a few minor bugs but nothing game breaking so far.

For a laugh I tried it on my GTX 970, what an utter pile of garbage, basically unplayable unless I set the settings to potato.

Some of the bug / glitch videos I've seen are hilarious. Back to my original plan of waiting for the proper PS5 version.

I still have a 970 as well.  I've been watch the 2000 series prices now that the 3000 series is out but the prices haven't budged yet.

Yikes! This has gone tits up spectacularly.

I’m enjoying the game but I am tempted to take the refund and re-buy in a few months once the bugs have been sorted and the next-gen updates are out. This will absolutely tank the game’s retail price too...

May as well take the refund. I have a rule of thumb these days to just not buy the super overhyped games. The last like this, Anthem, was absolutely woeful on launch too.

And remember No Man's Sky? It's started to become a very worrying trend.

Never played NMS, but apparently it’s decent days because they spent two years patching it after release.

Developers these days seem to think they can glorified beta versions of games knowing they can cash on whilst fixing out the bugs.

Although ironically if I do get the refund I’ll probably just spend it pre-ordering another game I fancy... Deathloop.

TBF to NMS it wasn't a buggy mess, it just wasn't what people expected. Personally, I've always enjoyed it. I must've sunk over 400 hours into it.

I see that Playstation have now removed Cyberpunk from their store!!

My nephew is playing it on Xbox One, and is enjoying it. Apparently he accidentally ended up having gay sex with a prostitute, and it was so graphic his (real) girlfriend asked him to make it stop!PC patch 1.04 has improved things a lot for lower end graphics cards.
