Which do you prefer?

I've always from day 1 been PS but basically that's an interest free (less than) with game pass ultimate for 2 years plus 2 games free a month basically (xbox orig/one) so very tempting

think i edited as you posted. £28.99 will end up costing about £50 more than an X with 2 years GPU (which a quick Google said can be had for £100 per year) £695 vs £649

To be honest all the games I seem to be interested in that were announced for the Xbox are on PC anyway so I don't really see the need to buy one, might get a PS5 but I'll wait a bit so the game library is better and I know that the exclusives aren't coming to PC because a few of them have been like Death Stranding.

PS+ one year is about £40 so PS5 with 2 years PS+ will be £449 + £80 = £529 (PS+ for PS5 is coming with a large library of PS4 classics which they said will be available day 1 and the library will grow in time, things like Days Gone, FFV, Bloodborne and several other very decent games, unsure if they will be 'improved' versions or the current ones though) Seems a simple way for PS to offer what GPU is offering with existing subscriptions etc...

Borin' Death Stranding has come to PC, a lot of the PS exclusives will now.

You could add on PS Now for 2 years (around £50 per year) and it would then equal the X with 2 years GPU, only you'd have PS+ and Now for 2 years.

in fact you can currently get 1 year PS NOw for £36... so PS5 + 2 years PS + & 2 years PS Now will be : £449 + £80 + £72 = £601 so about £50 less than buying an X with 2 years GPU and is almost £100 less than an X on their finance.

Sounds like the PS5 preorder was pretty brutal. I was lucky that I happened to be awake last night (thanks kids!) when a couple of retailers jumped the gun and went early with theirs.

Oh hang on I've managed to get into Currys queue... 20 minute wait though. 2935 people ahead of me!

Apparently Argos is doing Pre-orders from tomorrow for anyone willing to wait and chance their arm.

Just got a Pre-order disc version on Currys. took a while, but got there in the end!

Queue got paused with 965 people in front of me from about 11:10 to 12:06...

i wasn't going to do this as I should be saving my pennies of late, best not tell the Mrs!

Had emails from Amazon and Smyths.

Amazon say tomorrow morning. Smyths tomorrow lunchtime. Sadly they are not specific on times.

Looks like a few places are getting extra stock.
