Kristjaan Speakman has left Sunderland today. If ever there was a person made for us it's him. He joined them in league one and oversaw a youth focused approach and created a great scouting network which saw them promoted twice.

They are now changing their approach and he has left.

We should be all over this imo.

Agreed this sounds like a good fit for where we are.

Without doubt the best candidate but based on the work he’s done at Sunderland he will be going somewhere much higher up the food chain!

You never know unless you ask. My guess is we are too far down the line with Price if he's left his role at Macabi.

Shame as reading about his legacy by Sunderland fans it's clear Speakman is a brilliant operator and would very much align with where we are as a club and how we should be approaching the task at hand.

They say he is the sole reason they are where they are now. Not just on the player front but he was the one that identified and pushed for Le Bris as manager as the owner wanted to go a different way.
