Yes because Sir Alex, Klopp, Mourinho etc have never made poor signings.

Let's not mention all the good signings Wilder has made, which turned Sheff Utd from a League 1 side to finishing 9th in the Premier League.

Correct, and using a lot of the same players.

Wilder massively overachieved at SU... had it not been for lockdown and the arrogantanddeludedfisheatingsealcuants turning off Hawkeye they would have finished higher. He took a side that had been languishing in L1 for several years to competing for the Champs League in 3 n a bit years. That’s football manager level shit.

The issue with SU was that he had a system and a mentality that was so far beyond the sum of its parts it needed a very special level of recruitment to improve on what they had, and Wilder isn’t the first, and won’t be the last to fall victim to that.

He has produced consistently excellent results with Halifax, Oxford, Northampton and Sheff U... we’d be stupid not to at least speak to him, provided he has the mental resilience to get over this season.

I can’t wait to see Barts as a marauding overlapping centreback next year!

Cuzer

That can only be because they've only seen him on telly this season. To truly appreciate Burke's awfulness, you need to watch him in person.

However, while we're talking about Sheff Utd fans, many are gutted he's gone.

Wilder leaving sheff utd is what I was hoping for ever since McCabe left Sheff Utd after losing the ownership battle.

It's taken a bit longer than I thought it would take, but we mustn't miss out on this opportunity to try to get him.

He has an exceptional track record of promotions everywhere he has been, and I think he will want to show how his boyhood club were wrong in letting him go.

Let him recharge his batteries and then he can takeover after the final whistle of this season.

Go get him Albion.
