Would be harsh to judge Frabotta a flop when he simply hasn't been on the pitch. I'd have said the same about Cole until he has his half an hour against the worst team I've seen in years.

Frabotta is a weird one. Can't buy a place even off the bench and can't keep a club for more than 5 minutes. Maybe he's a wrongun off the field

Has he been long term injured? If not then he's a flop, if a newbie comes in and can't get any game time that's not really a good thing is it?

English money is probably a higher amount than he was getting... getting paid to sit around... wonder why he came!?

Even more so when the two keeping him out are a CH and a midfielder. Maybe Mogga can either soften his feet or get him some dockers!

I think the issue with Frabotta is he is more a modern Italian style full back/wing back - IE Di Marco (Fedrico at Inter not Beppe from Walford) or Spinazzolo. Usually in a flat 4 but getting right up the pitch, over lapping and being creative whilst still being solid. Unfortunately I think Frabotta can't defend and he's not that creative hence he's not made it in Serie A.

You can see why he came - we had no obvious left back - but much to his disappointment Heggem has turned out to be our best defensive signing since GMac and Styles has also shown himself more able to play as a left back ironically in the style of Di Marco!

It was a worthy roll of the dice by the club that maybe hasn't come off but possibly under Mowbray he'll get a chance as he's definitely one who is looking up the pitch perhaps to his defensive detriment.

It's also worth pointing out that he's being kept out of the team by other new signings, they can't all play.

The fact that Mowbray has been there before and he's not that bothered is a positive though.

He clearly rates himself as a coach who can get the best out of what he's been given and so he should.

Great hearing Mowbrays detailed analysis of his players. He doesn’t just come out with generalising but gives sone real coach’s insight.
