Sick of the situation but still love this club.

You start now, Mon. Put the hard miles in, going to Southampton, Charlton, Norwich midweek, Ipswich for a 12.00 KO. Then you get 1st dibs next season. Or supposedly,  I can't believe Oxford isn't done on a points basis while every other away game is. I feel a complaint to the club coming on.

There have only been 2 'loyalty points' aways this season. Wrexham and Blues.
I'm shocked. I'm sure I've had to wait a few days for games this season. Then again, it might've been last season, it all merges. I do know that's what got me up the points list last season though, doing the Blackburn on Tuesday, Plymouth for a noon ko. I definitely needed points for the Bournemouth cup game. It's a good system and I'm not happy it's not used for Oxford. We'll likely sell out any 3.0 Saturday games now till the end of the season.

I'm in season no 57, I've seen the good, bad, and very ugly but I'll be there next season whatever division we're in, I find it more if a social thing these days and with my life kicking on in years am not sure how many more seasons I'll get.

Followed us since 1972/73 Birdy. Seen some great times, more usually mediocre or downright rubbish. Got my son to support us as a child, not easy in a mainly Wolves family, I said to him some weeks back, this season is so like 1991, hope we don`t have to go to Sheff Weds on the last day needing a win, memories of Twerton Park still linger.

The club itself and the fans are the only true constants, owners, managers, players etc. are mere interlopers.
Whether a curse or a blessing, this passion that we have is with us for life, we can play it down and dilute it and pretend we don't care, but it won't be true, not now, not ever. It's in our very blood boys and girls and it will be until that blood stops pumping and they send us on our way, with the Lord's my Shepherd playing in the background.

That's why we should respect each other, more than anything else, even the moaners and groaners, the boo-ers and the happy clappers, the know-alls and the know-fuckalls (sometimes the same person), because we have a bond for life, no matter whether we're good or shite, rich or skint, or whatever league we ply our trade, we're not going anywhere. That's something to be proud of.

Boing Boing and COYB.

About the same, mon.  Grew up in the Astle/Hope period of cups and finals and thought life was always going to be like that. Got taken a few times (by an uncle) but it involved trying to get on the wall behind the goal. The toughest kids got the best spot so I'd be out by the corner flag. Hence Chippy Clark was my favourite.  Started going on my own with mates aged 11 or 12 to both Albion and the dings then almost the same time sussed we could travel away on the Kendricks coaches that picked us up from the pub car parks in the area. The Wash or the Wrenna for me. Had seen us at Stoke, Derby, Cov and Forest by aged12, parents never knew. Ducking under the turnstiles was the method. Then worked out we could go anywhere by rail by buying platform tickets and went to Anfield, Leeds etc. Life was good, for a while. That all went wrong when my mate got nicked in London for sneaking in, we got separated, lost and had no money. We also had no phone at home so my parents weren't at their best when I got back.  I might one day remember more adventures from the 1800s!!!
I must point out I pay my way now though and don't ever intend to stop following the Albion.

Wherever this team is playing I’ll be supporting from an ocean away lol. Don’t really know what other choice we have. Surely something breaks our way soon
