First off, digital ID is too authoritarian according to Badenoch but facial ID isn't?

Second, for the party that oversaw the Windrush scandal I don't think I've ever heard of a more tone-deaf policy. Facial recognition is incredibly flimsy, you want to leave the ECHR and facilitate deportations based on facial recognition software?
