I don't think anyone is saying he's the answer to all our problems but if we're lacking creativity, which we are, then give it a go. He's not a youth player who's been good in the stiffs, he's played full games for Juventus, Bologna, and the Boro team that just beat us!

I'm certainly puzzled as to why he wasn't brought on last night when we were chasing the game. He needs some time on the pitch to get up to speed and blend with the other players.

I like Campbell but he crosses like a CB. Maybe time to consider 352? Certainly should when Maja is fit OR when we are chasing a game like last night

Campbell - Phillips - Mepham

Wallace - Molumby - Price - Mowatt - Styles

Maja - Heggebo

If we stick with 451 against Leicester (and I expect we will) then bring in Taylor at LB, push Styles up to left midfield and restore Price back to #10 where he flourishes

I like the look of that 3-5-2.

So do I, but Mason has shown no signs that he does so just wishful thinking.

Agree with all of that. Early enough in the season to experiment as we've points in the bag. We simply cannot persist with the lone striker option every game or with Styles at left back.

Taking more of our chances would help things, of course, whatever the formation.

Despite the two defeats I'm inclined to think we're not far off from being competitive in the upper reaches of the table as the season unfolds.
