His problem, much like Phillips, is that it not only takes him a while to recover from injuries but it also takes 5-6 games until he’s back on form. We haven’t got time for that anymore.

Unfortunately and sadly very true - he has a role coaching and developing the youngsters, or on emergency standby IMO.

Agree, Not sure we have had value out of him this year, and we have little room for sentiment.

Was at the Sheff Wed home game and I thought he struggled to have an impact on the game. Not suited to a midfield 3 or just not physically up to it now.
