Called up to England U21’s.

Huge decisions to make regarding the GK department come Summer.

Johnston, Button, Palmer & Griffiths.

I’d be inclined to sell Johnstone (think Leeds will sign him) for a fee in region of £8-12m.

Just a shame he only has 12m on his current deal and not 24m, otherwise we could potentially be looking at nearly double the amount above.

I’d keep Button as an experienced No.2

For me Griffiths is the future. I think he’s ready to a Championship No.1.

Huge decision regarding him or Palmer.

Huge decision regarding him or Palmer.

It's a no brainer selling SJ given his contract length. And the fact he is the only player we can sell for a decent wedge.

The fact we have 2 very good young keepers on our books is a bonus. For me though I'd be giving Palmer the No1 Jersey next season.

He was brilliant for Plymouth in their promotion season and again is having a Stella season for Lincoln again this season. His year on year progression and 5 year age difference and experience means he should be given the Jersey.

I'd be loaning Griffiths out to a league one club next season as we have done with Palmer this. Get more games under his belt and see how he goes.

He's going to be a hell of a keeper but after one season of mens football, at 18, I don't think he should be given the pressure of a Championship promotion push and all that entails.

Thems me onions.....

I don't think the Palmer decision is "huge", especially in the context of some of the calls the club need to make in the close season

Watched a lot of Lincoln games this season on the firestick and I've been very impressed with Palmer. He's very tidy in his work and rarely seems troubled and commands his box really well.

We are in a very good position.

Agree Peachy. Think it's time to see what Palmer us made of. Button is more than capable if Palmer does struggle too much. I don't think he will.

Spot in. If Cheltenham go up it makes sense for him to have another season with them in League 1. If they don't go up, find another League 1 club. Clubs at that level will be queuing at the door for him.

Palmer needs to be in our 1st team squad next season.

The feedback from Lincoln fans is that, other than a couple of shockers in recent weeks, Palmer has been fantastic. I agree that selling Johnstone is the way forward, and would hope to see Palmer given a chance as number 1 next season. Button as backup

If you're good enough, you're old enough... and for Griffiths to be called into the U21s at 19 whilst playing for a L2 side is an achievement.

Whoever comes in next season will no doubt want to see both in action in pre-season and make as decision on who to go with. Whilst I agree Palmer is the more obvious of the two, with Griffiths out on loan again (potentially at Lincoln!), Meslier has shown that such a young keeper can perform at that level if given the faith and trust of his coaching staff.
