Top bloke who I’m sure will be successful in whatever endeavour he takes on.

Considering how everyone who's had any dealings with him is fulsome in praise, the chorus of spoilt armchairs whinging was sad to see.

Considering how one of the biggest issues at Manchester United since Fergie retired has been a lack of structure from the top down and board level disorganisation, I'm surprised. Fletcher might be an unknown quantity but surely anyone in that capacity better than nothing, notwithstanding Fletcher himself being a clever bloke and a willing learner.

It's been long mooted that they needed a technical director and the other guy seems to have a great cv. Fingers crossed it ends in tears and they continue to waste money on shite like maguire. Although, I would not mind James on loan next season.

Apparently football genius Dan Ashworth rejected them (yeah right) to start with a "clean slate" at BHA and reinvent the game again and master the skill of hitting the post and bar from pens in the same match for the first time in Premier league history. The Legend continues.
