RE: Wot I am watching now - Pf1ster - 11-27-2022 Dark on Netflix. German series, and (in my opinion), one of the best TV series ever. I enjoyed it but think it over-twisted. RE: Wot I am watching now - MassDebater - 11-27-2022 Serpent Queen - not sure what streams it's on as I acquired it, very enjoyable RE: Wot I am watching now - Cheshire East Baggie - 11-27-2022 (11-27-2022, 10:10 AM)Fido Wrote:(11-27-2022, 05:31 AM)Pf1ster Wrote: Dark on Netflix. A rather blunt portrayal of the American frontier in 1890, and full of implausibility, but mirroring real events and places. Mrs Chesh has given up on it, but I want to see where it leads. RE: Wot I am watching now - OneAlb1on - 11-27-2022 Sunday afternoon punch up Adam Azim live on Sky Oh well need to find something else to watch , lasted 2 rounds. RE: Wot I am watching now - SausEggBaton - 11-29-2022 Update on 1899, it's great if you want your brain to hurt. Watching Wednesday on the Netflix, very amusing and worth a go for mindless entertainment. RE: Wot I am watching now - SausEggBaton - 01-19-2023 Slow Horses series 2. Fooking ace bit of TV. Gary Oldman clearly cementing his pedigree as a fine, versatile and fabulous actor. RE: Wot I am watching now - MassDebater - 01-19-2023 Quite enjoyed Stonehouse, but am struggling to find anything to watch lately, all the good stuff finished and it seems to be at the in between phase of stuff coming out. A very silly jape but genuinely funny throughout and one with enough sly adult jokes to keep your attention as you veg on the sofa, trying to ignore your kids. A surprisingly stellar cast for a comedy - Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Daniel Radcliffe, the pretty one from Magic Mike... The Witcher: Blood Origin was entertaining if you like that sort of thing, also season 2 of Vikings Valhalla landed on Netflix last week. I recommend The Last Of Us, even if you haven't played the game - but episodes are dropping weekly (on a Monday) for that from Sky Atlantic. Gangs of London is very much worth a watch if you haven't partaked in that yet (2 series available via NowTV/Sky Atlantic). |
