RE: The managerial shortlist - Sliced - 01-13-2025 So Lepko said we were a massive fan of Williams who we weren't interested in, then does a podcast about "How Wicky was appointed" and it's not going to be Wicky. He's on for the hattrick RE: The managerial shortlist - richbaggie - 01-13-2025 (01-13-2025, 03:35 PM)Sliced Wrote: So Lepko said we were a massive fan of Williams who we weren't interested in, then does a podcast about "How Wicky was appointed" and it's not going to be Wicky. He's on for the hattrick We were interested in Williams Wicky was appointed bar the crossed Tesco He was right on both counts. He's on for the hattrick Nope. Not interested in him enough to have any contact with him, according to the Luke Williams himself, and we didn't appoint Wicky, clearly. If I'm being kind I'll say that's the danger of jumping the gun. RE: The managerial shortlist - Mouse - 01-13-2025 The longest shortlist continues… The sad thing about this all is that it feeds some of the negativity against the club on twitter etc. Granted, it doesn’t look good being the first appointment of the new owner but at the same time (based on the info so far) doesn’t appear the club did too much wrong (other than potentially releasing info about an announcement being close). I’m still quite relaxed about it all, however it does feel the longer it goes on the more tempted the club might be at sticking with what we have and reassessing in the summer. RE: The managerial shortlist - Tom Joad - 01-13-2025 After wasting time swotting up on Luke Williams I;ve sat the last few candidates out. I'll do homework on the new guy when he is appointed. Little point in getting all excited yet, looks like Brunty, Damo and Boaz in the chair for Stoke and maybe 'Boro. It could be an agent related to Wicky a friend of one of the coaches who might come along. Sources are kept tight, but blaming the club is absurd and your reaction childish. Says more about you than me, sunshine. RE: The managerial shortlist - Jacko - 01-13-2025 Luton in for Bloomfield from Wycombe. RE: The managerial shortlist - Remi_Moses - 01-13-2025 Things happen for a reason, if Vicky can't work without his helpers maybe he was the wrong choice. Let's move on and get someone who wants to come and do a real job. Forget Dyche types, i'd welcome big Dave back - he's still got unfinished business and he's done well with other jobs since he went. RE: The managerial shortlist - Babel - 01-13-2025 I’m looking forward to the Netflix miniseries (first two seasons) on our January. New episodes drop several times a day. RE: The managerial shortlist - Bob Fossil - 01-13-2025 Does it even count as list anymore? |
