Can't understand as to why CC picked him on Saturday.

If he's fit and available then wouldn't CC pick him?

Sky saying we're after Tawanda Maswanhise, a winger from Leicester with 13 minutes of senior football.

Probably a couple of notches up on the inspiration stakes from Weimann.

No idea if we can afford him.

This would be a good signing.  A player in the CC mould

Can't understand as to why CC picked him on Saturday.

With Phillips and Diangana unavailable and Wallace not fully fit we didn't have a great deal of other options for that left wing position so I can see why he was picked and he did a very solid job.

Along with Kelly, I'd have thought Reach would be one we'd be looking to move on given the money he's on and that he's only ever been a fringe player here.

Problem with moving Reach on are his wages… given the deferred signing on fee spread over his weekly wage, we’d probably have to pay him a chunk to leave, and anyone willing to sign him would need us to subsidise his weekly wage as no way he’s getting north of £20k else where.

For the sake of saving maybe £200k between now and his contract expiring it’s not really worth moving him on.

Looks like Carlos might not have heard about the impending fire sale.     Rolleyes

"West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is confident of signing at least one more offensive player to provide firepower for the business end of the season and hopefully a midfielder but hopes to keep the rest of his squad intact with no more departures."

RE: '24 Transfer Speculation Thread - Fulham Fallout - 01-22-2024

Made me loff the other day, when we were linked with a 19 year old from the Blue noses for £8.5m.

Firstly we aint got that much spare cash floating around and secondly, if we did sign him on say a 3 year deal, then £3m would be hitting the p&l (and FFP) for the next 3 years and is not what we want.

He obviously hasn't signed an NDA.
