If you use big words and look good in a tracksuit the job’s as good as yours.

It’s neither defensively solid, or expansive and creative. It has little or no goal threat, we’ve wasted millions on defenders, our creative players are tippy tappy, and unless they are scoring offer very little. We’ve had to loan players with pace into the club and fug knows what will happen if Heggebo gets injured in the next few matches.

Today’s match a meaningless but it has made me realise how limited this squad is not just in one area but in every department.

Bingo.

Ramsay came in and changed this, went his way and the players couldn't do it.

We've since reverted back to what didn't work under Mason but showed more fight. Anyone expecting this squad of players to become defensively sound and expansive going forwards is living with the fairies.

Today our reserves got beat by the form side in the division.

If he hadn't been messing around with formations could have had a few more points out of that. I think that was the real punch in the nuts.

Michael O'Neill at Blackburn now has as many points and goals in 50 minutes of football as Ramsay has in 6 games ........?

We don’t do experienced managers… we do Tech Bro, cool young managers!

Except for crap experienced managers, Bruce, Mowbray, who was good about 20 years ago.

The thing is there were a myriad of managers that aren’t in their 60s or 30s that were better and more experienced. I’ve given up with the decision making at the club… anything now is a bonus,

Quite, why do we appoint `young, up and coming coaches` who either have never managed anyone, or have only managed in a league that has nowhere near the level of competition / intensity of the English leagues.

I can't see Leicester going down, and Blackburn winning could be the bounce to get them out. Pompey can pull away with their games in hand...

I can't see us scoring enough, and think we'll concede too many, and as I said in November you don't want our players in a relegation fight because they have no fight. And now we have Ramses The Clueless.

Pompey had a game in hand today...didn't work out for them. Plenty of fight shown by the players at Blues

Plenty of fight, like against Stoke, certainly.
Unfortunately, no idea how to win football matches.
Nil-nil draws aren’t good enough.

RE: Prepareing for relegation - Stillclem4england - 02-14-2026

If we defend like Stoke and Blues and can start scoring at set pieces and avoid significant injuries we will likely be alright.
