RE: Wot I am watching now - TR 675 - 07-25-2023

Watched the last episode of The Sixth Commandment tonight. Fabulous TV and will no doubt puck up a number of BAFTA nominations and or awards. Yet the true crimes on which it was based on and the issues it raised was quite heart wrenching.
Perhaps it was COVID that put a spotlight on loneliness in old age. Perhaps it's why our very own "Baggies Buddies" is so important for a number in our community.

Aye, just watched it.  Enthralling but quite disturbing.

I turned my brain off and enjoyed it...

I've ran out of stuff so started back at series 1 of Red Dwarf, still makes me loff. original Kryten though, wow!

Series 1 through to 6 or 7 of Red Dwarf are masterpieces of British comedy.

I think Chris Pine just annoyed me too much TBH.

Just finish season 1 of Black Summer, I get it that it's focusing purely on the survival aspect of a Zombie apocalypse, but no indication at all of how the Zombies came about is a little confusing, plus, they must be the most hard-core invincible Zombies I've seen. It's OK I suppose, looking forward to season 2.

Just finished the second series of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Quite interesting if you are into courtroom drama,  and a clever plot with lots of red herrings.

However some of the acting was a bit wooden, and the yanks can't help adding cheesy happy family scenes, which don't do a lot for the story.

The pug dog is probably the best actor in the show.
