Very much feels like it was made in homage to the movie and it's the original cast too. No yank saccharine bullshit applied either.

It shows how tv, like music and comedy ,is subjective.I watched the first episode and thought it was dreadful.  Big Grin

It does indeed Smile For a wet Sunday I found it fit perfectly with what I needed.

Finally finished Succession. I didn't think it was as good as the hype excepting Brian Cox.
I found the final series quite a slog as it wore on and struggled to stick with it.
I recently started watching Black Mirror, thanks to the mentions on here. Except for the occasional episode I've found it very good.

Just finished Black Butterflies, a short French Netflix series. Worth a watch, I'd say.

RE: Wot I am watching now - Cunninghamismagic - 07-17-2023

Just finished Without Sin (ITV, Vicky McClure). Decent

Couple of updates here.

Witcher: finished series 3 last night episode. 5 - WTF is going on? Anyway it's well and truly fell into the, writer/director/producers arse.

Foundation: series 2 started on Friday, again for the hardline sci-fi reader's, it is in no way like the stories.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves: loved the cartoon TV series when I were a kid and game on the SNES/NES. But f*ck me, do not watch this film. -10/10
