Tykes v Owls - proper football

Great game.  Great atmosphere even with the sound off to shut out the gobshite commentary.

Champions League my arse.  (He said defiantly).

I've spotted a trend and, if I don't forget about it, will post some of the ridiculous names of artists who has transcended their own sphere and made it on the BBC news website.  And yes, I'm getting old.

First up... "Bad Bunny":  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65024779

How do we feel about doing this again?

I feel a lot of people have since been deserving of the title and aren't getting that recognition they truly deserve.

If keen, I'll start a post later for nominations.

  Mitrovic and the Fulham meltdown

Sorry don't know if there's been a thread on this, couldn't find one, but what the hell were Fulham thinking in that minute v Man U on Sunday?

Willian clearly handled it so had to go and both Silva and Mitrovic seemed to have completely lost all of their senses. Some of the most stupid and irrational behaviour sabotaging your team I've seen in a long time.

Right now 25% of the Premier League's managers have had a stint at Watford - Silva, Hodgson, Gracia, Rodgers, Dyche.

Roy's appointment also continues the run of at least one of him, Allardyce or Arrythecunt managing in the PL every year since 1994.

Mariner and THAT penalty decision v Chelsea
Posted by: hudds - 03-21-2023, 09:18 AM - Forum: WBAUnofficial - Replies (15)

"On the way home from a recent match, Marriner recalled how, in 2013, he’d awarded a soft stoppage time penalty to Chelsea when one of their players went down in the box. The reaction of the opponents instantly told him he’d made a mistake. The Stamford Bridge crowd had got to him and he had made the decision too quickly. “I was praying they were going to miss!” he said. (They scored.)"

It's The Guardian so Cunningham Is Maggie can ignore and read the side of a bus instead.....
