A strange air of contentment and positivity around the club, a sell out crowd coupled with the return of Pulis. We all know what’s going to happen.

0-1.

If you can afford to go, I can't see why any Baggie wouldn't want to be there tomorrow.

Hopefully there will be a sales boost after a positive transfer window close.

Was never in doubt.

Trust in Jenkins, Dowling, Moore et al.

Can't wait to see some of those tackles from Johansen in the Villa Derby, that game was made for him Big Grin

6 loan players in the squad - all will need replacing in the summer (whatever division we are in....just to stand still.

I rate all the players we’ve brought in & they will improve the squad (& I fully expect us to finish top 4 now)

.....but it is hard to understand what the clubs long term strategy is now - we didn’t spend big in the Prem, we’re not financially crippled, so why can’t we find the right balance? Go up & I doubt we’ll compete as we’ll have to replace more than half the squad, stay down & it’ll be more loans

....but perhaps that’s football nowadays?

Well done Moore, Dowling and Jenkins

After the shite shows of previous January transfer windows this one wasn’t bad at all. Kept everyone we wanted, strengthened where we needed - Right Back, Barnes & Sako replacements a bonus in Johansen and solid back up by extending Hoolihan and Mears.

Credit where it’s due to Moore, Dowling & Team for the targets and for Jenkins for opening the kitty, even if its only loan money secured against Parachute payments. If all pays off and we go up, jobs a good ‘un. If it doesn’t we’re not saddled with the huge debt.

Now it’s over to Darren and co - let’s get one of those top two places. COYB!!!
