What the fuck is up with them?

They are playing inferior opposition week in, week out and play with all the tempo and desire of a testimonial

1st half if we played with urgency we would be at least one goal up

Their only threat is set pieces so we give them a pathetic throw in which they score from, we drag ourselves back into it and then instead of going on to win the game, like a side at the top of the league should, we gift them another set piece opportunity which they score from. I seriously hope Bilic gives them a right bollocking tonight as something is seriously wrong with the application being shown currently 

I’ve no issue losing to good sides or world class strikes etc but we are gifting poor sides results

Very dangerous team picked by Bilic which backfired badly

SJ 3 Must seriously be under pressure from Bond now, at fault for 2nd goal with sloppy distribution 

O’Shea 3 woeful error for 1st goal, plenty of effort but wasted good chance and crossing opportunities 

Ferguson 3 Terrible first half with no desire, where is the overlapping, full of energy, young player who came into the team? If he doesn’t want to be here or isn’t committed he can do one

Hegazi 5 Showed more than most, won most his aerial duels

Bartley 3 Poor, tame challenge for their first goal, more interested in passing sideways then carrying out the art of defending currently, not good enough tonight at all

Sawyers 5 Slick passing but dropping too deep to be effective, needs to move the ball quicker

Livermore 5 Tried to get them going, closed down and won his tackles, let down by others

Edwards 3 Terrible tonight, real chance to set the standard with Grady and Pereira out but cutting inside too much, not running at the opposition like he used to, seemed to lack energy after his game Saturday

Krovinovic 7* Picked up where he left off Saturday, found good space especially in the first half but lack of movement in front of him didn’t help, also a threat from the left

Phillips 6 As always could do more but was a threat at times, really should have scored 1st half

HRK 3 Very poor tonight, never in the game

Austin 5 Scored, put the yards in

Zahore 3 Strolled around again, just doesn’t work hard enough, missed late chance he should have scored

Furlong 5 Should have started

Piss poor Albion, need a massive kick up the arse for Saturday

I hope Slav doesn’t try and sugar coat this as it’s nowhere near the desired level

Johnstone 2 - conceded awful goals and he contributed massively to them. Cardiff did nothing else

Ferguson 6 - he is an excellent defender, solid performance

O’Shea 4 - surprised he started after only playing a few days ago with Furlong back. The wrong decision. Struggled going forward and error giving the ball away just after the break. We still should have been able to defend it.

Bartley 2 - back to his old tricks, lacks composure, makes mistakes and lacks the character to pick the team up

Hegazi 5 - didn’t do a lot wrong but him and Bartley have never played well together

Edwards 2 - absolutely dreadful, didn’t try and beat his man, gave it away loads and totally out of his depth

Sawyers 3 - he should play further forward with Livermore sitting. Really lacking confidence, would like to see him making things happen in the final third rather than just collecting the ball deep

Livermore 5 - works his knackers off, needs help from those around him

Krov 6 - he tries hard and was probably our best player tonight which says a lot. He’s just a bit of a nothing player, too weak to be centre mid, not creative enough for a number 10

Hal 2 - big fan but just had a shocker, no one got near him and he didn’t get near anyone

Phillips 6 - frustrating but did create chances and had no one to link up with

I agree, we lack a leader, I did think Livermore tried to make th8ngs happen tonight, got forward when he could, got stuck in etc

Far from great, but a hell of a lot worse than him

Bartley, Edwards, Sawyers and Zohore all deserved 1's at a maximum

Not quite sure how Phillips was double Edwards. He’s been useless for about 10 games now.
When things aren’t going well you call on your better players to step up, Phillips hasn’t, and never really has. He’s great when everyone else is playing well, pretty anonymous when they aren’t.
He needs dropping too imo

So much wrong tonight, in fact, there are no positives. Genuinely shambolic performance. I will let O'Shea off, playing at full back in his first league start in a struggling team is never a good way to debut. But the rest of them? Fuck 'em.
