Hopefully his substitution was Bilic finally losing patience in him

But I doubt it expect the same line up on Saturday except O'Shea and Edwards left out

As a defender the first rule of your job is to defend, Bartley goes through fazes where he forgets this, barely gets his knees dirty, something you can’t level at a Hegazi and Semi, who I’d start with Saturday by the way

Woeful challenge for the first goal and a had in the second, often bullied in the air, a real night to forget for him.....plus at least seven others

Yeah agree about starting Hegazi and Semi Saturday. Bartley shocked me big time with his good form til December, but he's gone right downhill. Played ok against Leeds, but gone right off in general.

I just hate the lack of application, the game was so comfortable for us tonight, especially in the first half but we stroll around, play with no tempo,when there is no Grady or Pereira there to make things happen others have to step up and tonight everybody just left it to somebody else

I thought I was pissed after the Charlton league game, this is another level

Absolutely right. Been tons of that lately. Tons.

I remember Megson used to talk about insisting players never ever hid, however badly things were going, you could not hide. You showed for the ball and took responsibility, however out of form you were. He always loved Gregan because of that. Our players could do with realising this is needed right now.

Just listened to Slavs post match interview

Seemed to have a real go at defenders not doing their job and leaving it to others, seemed aimed at Bartley, especially for that first goal

He’s clearly pissed at them, if he does show loyalty Saturday there is a few of them drink8ng in last chance saloon I’d wager
