What’s the matter with people?

We will (hopefully) soon be getting rid of Lai and yet people still have things (players) to moan about.

Some people need to chill out.
It's football I'm one of the worst when they have a stinker and I do go on a match to match basis but on the other hand I praise aswell .....no sentiment on my basis .
Other than Scousers who are we spacegoating now?

Heart nearly always rules head when something like this is concerned but I’m sure it’s just as annoying when people come on and say “I told you he was quality” after putting in one good performance out of five. We all have different opinions but some posters think it’s a competition to be seen as the most sensible or level-headed supporter on here. It’s a football forum (loosely, admittedly) so I’m not sure what people’s issue is unless folk are following it up with shoving dogshit through the player’s letterbox.

The guy who got us three points against Blues?

Gotcha
Some people actually like discussing the Albion, both positive and negative, rather than what pumps they are wearing or what they had for tea.

Also a lot of people do not understand the definition of scapegoat. Observational criticism is not spacegoating. Spacegoating would involve blaming all of the ills of the club, or results, on one or two players and that simply doesn't happen.

Exactly. We've haven't had proper spacegoating since Sam Johnstone left.

What about when the observational criticism often centres on the same select players and is more often than not total bollocks? Might not be spacegoating but it smells similar.
