In defence of Derby's "reputation", though, it is the administrators who have submitted the appeal, rather than the shysters that were running them before.

The Administrators know they are in a stronger position if they aren't virtually relegated already.

Can't see it being accepted, though. Loads of clubs will be in Admin this season if it is.

Yup - if they allow administration without penalty due to Covid it’s a nice opportunity for a few clubs to sort themselves out! 

No doubt Derby will manage to Villa their way out of this somehow
