Went to a student party run by a bunch of Yanks on an exchange celebrating Thanksgiving when I was 20. I had a lot of Strongbow, Popcorn and Pumpkin Pie. That night I was as ill as I can ever remember and vomited over the fireplace in my bedroom flat. Have only ever managed to stomach cider on a couple of occasions since - and under duress.
