Scrumpy at The Plough in Elmley Castle - 26p a pint and a right of passage as we turned 18.
Projectile vomiting through my nostrils and a hangover that death would have been a welcome release from!!
Not touched the filthy apple beverage since!  Confused

You’ve just reminded me of one night when I was aged 15 or 16.  My mate and I went and bought a bumper can of lager and bottles of strong bow and mixed them in one of his dads empty beer making barrels and tapped it off.  I was pissed and staggered home.  Part way through the night I woke to discover I was lying in bed in my own vomit. I turned the pillow over and placed the pillow on top of the vomit and went back to sleep.  A few hours later when I woke again I decided I didn’t want to be sleeping in vomit any longer and rolled out of bed onto the floor and pulled my quilt on top of me.

My mom was quite understanding the next morning when I thought I’d be getting a bollocking.
