China also threatened any doctors who whistleblew with imprisonment. They also welded infected people into their flats.

They are not a country to envy, on any level.

They also lied about the virus being able to transmit human to human, and lied about the date of the first case (by almost a month)... If they're eradicated it as they claim then they must have some super special sauce that they're not sharing with everyone else, either that or they really did create it.

Mind you, a few of the idiots in this country could do with being weleded into their houses.   Rolleyes

Has, anyone else noticed that the daily figures on deaths always seems to rise somewhere, around the mid 40's, each day, seems to be a rather too uniformed mortality rate compared with the numbers else where.

since the start of the year 265 people per day have died where respiratory diseases were the underlying cause, what's not clear yet is if the Covid-19 deaths are adding to this or are being attributed to people who may have died in any event or if this is a statistically significant change.

There is obviously an increase in deaths attributed to Covid-19 but we just don't have enough info to make the comparisons and with the government stating that it may be 2-3 weeks before the effects of control measures can be measured for their effectiveness in reducing transmission rates and associated deaths.
