I thought he looked quite trim, perhaps training more to compensate his lack of minutes on the pitch, looked sharp

Probably just pissed off he wasn't slid in at the end.
Good signs that he is hungry for goals and not hungry for cake like Lambert or Berahino.
He'll get another chance to start and he'll be all smiles then.
