I want there to be something in this as he's such a bad ref, however it sounds like he basically said "I'm not the reason you're in the bottom three" and they have twisted it to claim he was mocking them for being in the bottom three. All a load of nothing really

I really can't take footballers who complain about the way refs are speaking to them seriously. Given the amount of stick refs get, good on him for giving some back.
