I think we could do with a left back in January. Gibbs gets injured too often and Townsend is league one standard.

We have enough to get through.

Reassess in the summer, and buy a further player that is appropriate to the division that we find ourselves in.

I love Townsend’s effort and endeavor but for me he’s not good enough, if Ferguson does go imperative we get in left back cover
