Pierre Novellie as support was worth watching too!

He’s in his 60’s now, constantly making gags about knee tremblers down some alleyway are hard to carry off at that age, I thought his routine was excellent given the time away from live stand up he’s had, still some cutting and close to the knuckle stuff IMO

'Call the midwife' was a particular fave of mine!  Big Grin

Saw him many, many times back in the day when he was compare of the XXXX cabaret in Bearwood - funniest person I have ever seen!

Remember his impromptu routines at the Albion end of season POTY nights at The Tower Ballroom, those events were utter carnage

The one where the “paid” comedian walked off as nobody was listening to him was pure comedy

i think I was at that one, if it's the one I remember the highlight was one of my friends (who was absolutely blootered) falling through the hatch in the bar like in OFAH Big Grin
