It's not as if these jobs are going to another EU country. Because of the agreement between the EU and Japan they are returning to Japan, where the supply lines are local and parts don't have to be shipped all over the world.
Looks like the Japanese are looking after their own and, because of the agreement, the jobs would have gone regardless of whether we were leaving or not.
I'd watch this space if I were you - I've worked for a couple of Japanese companies and it's no surprise that with all the uncertainty they are closing Swindon and not the Belgium or Turkish plants (that feed into the EU). Japanese companies are very conservative and they really don't like uncertainty - make of it what you will but it really is simple, they are walking away from the table because of Brexit. The single biggest fuckup in our recent history.

I hope the Turks are getting blue passports as well as Honda are closing that and also returning those jobs to Japan.
Perhaps headline should be 'EU/ Japan agreement costs European jobs'
Apart from the fact that they are not closing Turkey - but why would you let a fact like that get in the way of a good brexiteer point.
