Before the Falklands War in 1982, when the economy was waning and the Tories were unpopular, it became difficult to find anyone who would admit to voting for Thatcher back in 1979. I'm guessing that when the reality of dis-ordered Brexit bites deep into our good old British lifestyle, Brexit voters will be about as numerous as Berahino goals.
Are you blaming the public and not the politicians then for the ongoing negotiations debacle? The public voted leave, the majority of politicians seem to be the ones cocking it all up and doing everything they can to stop it happening in any kind of positive manner.
