I'm loving this lads attitude already hopefully it rubs off on a few more, got the makings of a big big player for us.

Definitely agree, and it's things like this that can really knit the whole club together into a promotion season despite the notable areas of change and uncertainty we are undoubtedly going through.

Monitoring department (ahem) delivers classy signing on a reasonable budget > social media department releases well pitched clip to really bring the fans on board > Sawyers delivers that extra few % in his performances to emphasise what it means to be back > Fans recognise and give him and the team more vocal backing to further boost performances across the board as everybody raises their game > Feel good factor returns and several results are strung together and the winning habit sticks (with a coaching team using more adaptable tactics as required!).

I accept this may be deemed 'happy clapper' output but I feel strongly that the creation of a genuine Roy of The Rovers type character within a football club can become a self fulfilling prophecy that delivers good things. Of course the player performance, fans, opposition ability, luck and various factors have to come together to deliver what we all want, but who knows, this could be the year that Romaine is our Gerrard, Pukki, Koumas, SKP, Greasy Jack et al headline maker that makes things happen!
