Good piece on this from Barney Ronay in yesterday’s guardian

The piece can be summed-up as England = hooliganism, hooliganism = Brexit. That's really what he's getting at here, with usual Guardian/Ronay sneering. Not all Brexiteers are hooligans. Not all hooligans are Brexiteers. I suppose we should be glad that concedes that not all England fans are hooligans and that it's a tiny minority.

As for some England fans going through the 'Non-EU' terminal? OH, NO!! HOW TERRIBLE!!

Of course, when remainers are pulling gormless stunts like shouting 'STOP BREXIT' in the background of TV interviews or defacing Government buildings with stickers with the puerile slogan the Lib Dems had on its Euro manifesto, that's doubtless a right jolly wheeze to our Barney (albeit not football-related of course).

I also suspect he'll love it if England fans go through the EU terminal after we have left to try to make a point.

Any opportunity this outlet gets to attack the leave-voting working class it piles on quicker than you can say 'Help us deliver the independent journalism the world needs'. 

I remember when the left used to champion, not villify, the working class.
