Immense tonight . Harper Field Tulloch Adaboriouyo Townsend Bond Rodgers

Let down by the experienced players and somewhat by their manager who really could have helped them out with a couple.more experienced players alongside them.

Difference was Brighton brought on experience and goals to win the game. We took our main goal threat off at HT brought on kids,  and left our other main goal threat on the bench. Oh well. Time to focus in the league.

As a premiership club Brighton don't need to worry about developing youth players, it will be a nice bonus for them if it happens, but they can afford to have players like the Iranian guy who has hardly started this season, but still cost £17m in their squad.

We have to one eye on the possibility that we don't get back up this season, and with so many loanees and players iGiving thn their 30s, we may have to rely on some of these youngsters more regularly next season. he experience they will have gained from the cup games we have had this season may be invaluable.

Harper is a fucking beast.

Think Field and Harper playing 120 mins tonight points towards a CM trio of Johansen, Barry, Livermore on Sat.
