They weren't working for the met. They were retired. The media talk about crude/racist /obnoxious/ grossly offensive messages in a private group chat. Obviosly not meant for public consumption. It's probable that they were just being fucking nobheads but because its on the whatsapp it's... (am I allowed to say that)
