I wasn’t sure if it was him or not as he didn’t seem as “big” as he did on the pitch. Mind you, a lot of players are like that and appear shorter when next to them. Anyhow, I said “Dave” and he turned round and we had a chat. I also met him again in Solihull town centre and we had another chat. He came across as a lovely bloke for sure.
