The Black Country is a nebulous, word of mouth area that has no real boundaries other than the ones people have decided for it. The closest to a genuine geographical area would be where there were shallow seams of coal but in reality lots of areas have this outside of the West Mids.

Yep.

At least cockneys have a definition. Just a pity the majority of Albion fans don’t know what it is, and will cringeworthy refer to fans from clubs located North & West London as cockneys. <shakes head>
